Great history here!
I've studied WWII extensively but never really studied the first world war so this video really opened up my eyes. Very personal account of the war and it's impact. I would suggest it to history buffs.
Highly informative doc
After taking a class at my university on World War 1 I got really interested in this point in history. It was really cool to watch a really compelling video about the war that didn't feel like I was reading a textbook. I'd recommend this to fellow history buffs.
Personal
This documentary made WW1 seem very real and personal by sharing the stories of several individuals. A lot of documentaries about the subject are purely about cold facts on a timeline. I could really feel the pain these people went through, especially since I have relatives who faught. It made them seem more human, instead of just names and dates.
