Great for Long Car Rides or Just Hanging At Home
I was never one of those people who felt the kids watch too much TV. It isn't how much they watch, it is what they watch in my book. As long as it is educational, fun, and didn't drive me crazy I was OK with it. The songs and movies on Scholastic's The Wheels on the Bus Sing-Along Travel Kit were songs I could sing along to also and that makes me even more happy.
The kit comes in an easy to carry travel case with a handle that easily fits into any bag or can be carried by the littlest helper.
Inside the easy to carry kit is:
# 15 musical storybooks on two DVDs
# 13-song CD
# 24-page activity booklet
# Crayons
# Travel tips for parents
This is the perfect addition to a long car ride. Our personal favorites are "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, and Dem Bones.
My girls love it
My girls (2 & 4) love these videos. I had borrowed it from the library so I already knew they liked it, but these two DVDs were slightly different. The only drawback, and it's little, is that the video "there was an old lady who swallowed a fly" was read/sung by Burl Ives on the one from the library, so I was shocked and a little disappointed to find that the one on this video is read/sung by Cindi Lauper. It is still good, I just liked the Burl Ives ones better. I don't think my kids care.
My daughter is happy
It Entertains her. She loves books to music. Cute stories. Cute songs. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys Scholastic stories.
